Meet The Team

Daniel is one half of the team behind BS Honey Bees, running the business alongside his long-time school friend, Tristan Sawczuk.

Daniel is heavily involved in the day-to-day running of the business, from commercial beekeeping and queen production through to sales, customer service, logistics and product development. Being very much a hands-on person, he enjoys finding practical solutions to problems and looking for ways to make the business, its products and the beekeeping operation work better.

He is often the person customers will speak to, particularly when it comes to bees, queens, orders and the many questions that come with buying and keeping honey bees.

Tristan is the other half of BS Honey Bees, working alongside his long-time school friend Daniel to run and develop the business.

While Daniel is often the more visible, customer-facing side of the company, Tristan plays a key role behind the scenes. He is involved in the operational, commercial and strategic side of the business, helping to manage the day-to-day running of the company and making sure plans and ideas are turned into practical action.

Tristan brings a different set of strengths to the partnership and is an important part of keeping the business organised, moving forward and continually developing. From business decisions and operations to the countless jobs that happen behind the scenes, he helps make sure everything keeps ticking over.

Having known each other since school, Daniel and Tristan have developed a partnership that combines their different skills and personalities to build BS Honey Bees into the business it is today.
